Muzaffer Şenel, Ph.D, is a respected scholar of European Studies with a focus on European foreign policy toward the Middle East, Turkish foreign policy, and the Cyprus issue.
Throughout his career, Şenel has been actively involved in diplomatic and semi-academic events, including serving as a member of a multinational track II diplomacy team focused on resolving conflicts in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region in order to promote stability in Europe’s immediate neighborhood. He has also published numerous academic papers and op-eds in various journals and periodicals, and has been a frequent commentator and political analyst on international media outlets such as Channel News Asia, Al Jazeera, Sputnik, and TRT World.
